The Parish Finance Committee is appointed to assist the pastor in the development and stewardship of the parish's financial resources so that the parish may effectively pursue its mission of spreading Christ's Gospel and love.
Its mission is to maintain the fiscal health of the parish. Committee members help create an annual budget, review monthly financial reports, oversee offertory and cash control procedures, and coordinate the Bishop's Annual Appeal and other special campaigns.
The committee meets monthly and a time commitment of 4 - 12 hours per month is typical. The committee values individuals who have a business background, especially those with financial and accounting skills.
